U...S...A! U...S...A! U...S...A!

In keeping with the commemoration of 9/11. Here is something I've wrote about a tower that actually deserves to be destroyed... myself. 



Midnight Rattle

Frozen in darkness

Not only unwilling

Unable

Blind

Walls closing in

Sinking

Drowning

F it all then, I’ll gorge myself in my apathetic delights

Afraid of The Light

Too scared that I might

See so bright

I’ll get lost in the rays

That old me, off in the distance

Shimmering away

Face all pretty now

No not even

So jaded & disarranged with fake fragrance

Puff, puff, pass

That ain’t the way it go down

Get your own ish, you gotta put down

Fake confidence bubblin’, pushing my head up my ass

Naw, mine don’t stink

What’s y’all problem

Yeah, I’m the ish,

Scream at the sky

Hands to the sky

Not thumb, marriage, or the one you swear by

You’ll be, what you’ll be, no difference to me

I am what I am, so how could there be

Room for you to pursue, trap, & engage

This cold-blooded creature content with the rage

In love with the plain 

Trying to maintain

Keep spittin, I still don’t get it yet

I sent my son, he beat the grave, saved, & erased your debt

Naw, man, had a grip saved up

Salvation layover plan… I’ve almost made it

Son, you ain’t got ish

Here, take my merit

We Are Losing America!!!!

Days go by & still I think of you...

I, like some of you, have let myself succumb to this bite size world that we have crafted for ourselves. Twitter has been my more consist outlet for all of my brain clutter. This time, twitter is getting the shaft! 



We have lost America... and I kinda don't care. 

What I mean by that is I just do not have the head space for the over-imagined problems that the Christian culture-warriors seem to concern themselves with. I don't care if science teachers teach evolution, if the LGBT community have marital rights, if people say happy holidays, hobby lobby's employee benefits, and so on, and so on, and so on. 

You know we have real problems right? 

Recently, we have this brief moment where the 24hr cycle of news is actually covering things that matter like ISIS/ISIL/IS in Iraq, Palestine/Israel beef, and black people being hunted down by the police (Don't blink-- Lindsay Lohan is due for another rehab stint soon, so receive this while it lasts. Don't confuse this as praise for the media; they just happen to not be entirely crapping the bed in this small area).

With humans of every demographic dying the world over because of skin color, differing beliefs, bad theology, unusable water, sex trafficking, forced child armies, etc-- I just can't get lost in those kinds of weeds. 

I just can't feel sorry that your super privileged life of ease is being slightly inconvenienced because people in America are starting not to think/believe/act the way you'd want them to. Christian culture has mainly dominated in the USA since it's inception. You've had a good run...

For all you beleaguered Christian culture-warriors out there I have good news... I've been reading Revelation recently and as it turns out there is hope. You see Jesus comes back, like he said he would, and finally & ultimately redeems/rescues His creation and restores all things to himself. Like, for realsies. This is happening. JC will finally cash the check he wrote on Calvary. So all these things that you are so worried about now will be taken care of by the final blow JC delivers to satan/sin/death. In this world you may face tribulation, but JC has overcome the world. 

So I will make you a deal. Lets concentrate on the ISISes, Palestinian/Israeli Conflicts, black people being killed by police, Darfurs, sex traffickings, and food/shelter for all people. Once all that is handled, I'll happily join you in protecting America from the heathens.
